Gigantic Asteroid Narrowly Misses Earth!!!

The world survived another day . . . barely. According to UPI, a huge asteroid (about a half mile wide) narrowly missed colliding with the Earth today. The asteroid had the power to wipe out a small country should it have impacted the Earth. Fortunately the asteroid passed some 268,624 miles away (about the distance from the Earth to the moon) and disaster was avoided. I just thought you would like to know . . .
